Muddy Waters

When I took my daughter to McCauley Park yesterday, the playground area was a huge mess! It was extremely muddy, and there were huge puddles everywhere. This has been an ongoing issue with the playground as long as we've been here.

One of the items on my platform is about improving and beautifying public spaces. As a mother of a young child (and even if I weren't!), the parks and playgrounds are important to me, and if elected to council, I will actively seek to work with the parks department to find solutions to improve and better maintain the playground areas. Hopefully, I can also get them to oil the swings so they aren't so noisy!
