A Voice for ALL Nixans

It shouldn't have to happen to you for it to matter to you.

This is a powerful statement, and it's something I live by. Part of living in a society is caring about our neighbors and fellow humans, and being concerned about what affects them, even if it doesn't affect us personally. I feel that this is a very important belief for a person serving in city government. There will be many issues that Nixans will bring to the city council that won't affect me personally, but that doesn't mean that I won't care about those issues or take them seriously. I will put myself in others' shoes and strive to understand how those issues affect them. When I say that I will be a voice for ALL Nixans, I mean it!
